Expired Anime Duelists Codes

Not every Anime Duelists Roblox promo lasts forever. Toonrise Studios retires codes after major patches, shutdown windows, or when a milestone campaign ends. This page tracks expired or commonly reported dead codes so you do not waste time pasting them into the Shop code box. Beebom updated its expired list on July 29, 2026 and moved the entire SHUTDOWN series plus THANKSFORPLAYING off active status. Other trackers such as NerdSchalk or TryHardGuides may still list a few shutdown strings for a few days — that disagreement is normal after a numbered patch. If a code appears here and still works for you, redeem it immediately and tell us. If a code on the active hub fails, check Discord before assuming the wiki is wrong.

These nine strings replaced older wiki guidance that still treated SHUTDOWN3, SHUTDOWN4, and SHUTDOWN8 as working. Beebom is our primary source for expired decisions because it refreshed most recently; when in doubt, try active codes from Codes first.

Why trackers disagree on shutdown codes

Anime Duelists updates quickly, and third-party code lists refresh at different speeds. Before July 29, TryHardGuides and RoCodes still marked several SHUTDOWN strings as working while Beebom had already moved SHUTDOWN5 to expired. After Beebom’s July 29 refresh, the entire SHUTDOWN line plus THANKSFORPLAYING and SORRYSHUTDOWN sit in the expired bucket on that tracker.

That lag is normal after a numbered patch such as UPDATE3.75 — some servers stop accepting older promos before aggregator sites catch up. SHUTDOWN1 and SHUTDOWN2 have been dead on every major tracker for weeks. If any SHUTDOWN code still redeems on your account today, treat it as a grace window, not proof the string is permanently active.

Why codes stop working

1. Patch retirement — Names like UPDATE2 or SHUTDOWN1 often die when UPDATE3.x ships.
2. Already redeemed — Each Roblox account can claim a code once; alts need their own claim.
3. Stale server — Fresh codes can fail until you rejoin a newer Anime Duelists server.
4. Typo / case — Copy from the wiki instead of typing by hand.

What to do instead of expired codes

• Redeem every string still marked active on Codes, including UPDATE3.75, 4MVISITS, and UPDATE2.
• Spend Gems on permanent Game Passes using the Game Passes tier list instead of chasing dead promos.

• Track patch notes on Update 3.75 and the Updates hub.

How this expired list is maintained

We refresh expired strings when Beebom or Discord announcements agree a code is dead for several days. Because Anime Duelists updates quickly, a code can move from the active Codes hub to this page overnight after a numbered patch such as UPDATE3.75. Bookmark both pages if you redeem on multiple Roblox accounts — alts still need fresh claims on working strings, and expired ones never unlock a second payout.

When Toonrise posts a shutdown compensation, expect a new SHUTDOWN-numbered code rather than a revival of SHUTDOWN1 or SHUTDOWN2. Visit and like milestones follow the same pattern: once 4MVISITS or 7KLIKES retire, the next campaign usually ships a higher counter instead of reopening the old string.

Inbox gifts versus Shop codes

Some rewards arrive in the in-game Inbox after a successful redeem, especially boost stacks. If Shop says success but your Gems look unchanged, open Inbox → Gift and claim there before assuming the code expired.
